Treatment for pet diarrhea

The most important thing to do when your pet is having diarrhea is to put him on a 12-hour fast. Allow your pet needs to drink water, but not eat anything during this period. After 12 hours, you can feed your pet, cooked, ground turkey and canned 100% pure pumpkin. An alternative to pumpkin is cooked sweet potato. Feed your pet a 50/50 ratio of turkey and pumpkin till the condition resolves.

If pet diarrhea does not resolve within 3 days, then check with a veterinarian immediately who will diagnose and start the treatment process accordingly. Make sure you aware of the symptoms and address them as soon as you notice any complications.
